Welcome

The Red Sea Jazz Festival is back at Eilat’s harbor!
Featuring dozens of artists from Israel and across the world
November 10-12, Eilat Harbor, Israel

A weekend packed with tons of music and unique original productions by leading Israeli and global artists – The perfect combination of warm sun, blue sea, and desert landscape together with good music at the vacation capital of Israel.

Since its establishment in 1987, the Eilat Jazz Festival has become a well-known and respected institute, which every year hosts dozens of top musicians from around the world alongside rising talents who will be talked about in the years to come.

During the 36 years of the festival’s existence, it has hosted legendary names such as Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Al Foster, Ron Carter, Ricky Lee Jones and Dianne Reeves alongside well-known Israeli stars such as Eli Degiberi, Avishai Cohen (bass), Omer Klein, Avishai Cohen (trumpet) and many more.

The festival got its name thanks to its location inside the port of Eilat, where the open view of the Red Sea Bay serves as a backdrop for the artists and concerts. Starting from the first year of the festival, all the concert halls and facilities are built using cargo containers placed on top of each other. The festival has three concert halls of different sizes, a central complex with a food fair, bars and a free concert stage.

Over the years, the festival was curated by well-known Israeli musicians such as Danny Gottfried (the founder of the festival), Avishai Cohen the bass player and Eli Degibri the renowned saxophone player. In recent years, the festival has been led by Mr. Yossi Fine, one of Israel’s best-known bassists and producer who leads a unique line that combines traditional jazz alongside world music and popular shows.

Maestro Yossi Fine has gathered artists from all over the world, for 18 concerts over 3 days. You won’t want to miss anything, so be sure to purchase a PASS to access all the events!

Along with well-known and beloved names, this year features numerous young and up-and-coming artists honoring and innovating the local Israeli and global jazz scene.

Jacob Collier, the five-time Grammy award winner who has released four albums, will be joining the festivities amid his global tour.

The three-time Grammy award winner, Corey Henry, will perform his famous keyboards in a trio show combining jazz and soul.

Don’t miss the concert of The Godfather of Ethio-Jazz Mulatu Astatke, and the Three Duets concert by famous saxophone player Eli degibri with Aharon Goldberg, Omri Mor and Tom Oren.

For the festival’s 36th installment, we are proud to announce that the Israeli group THIRD WORLD LOVE will be the opening show. After nearly a decade of absence from the stage the group is reunited for a one-time show exclusively for the festival.

The festival will host some of the most promising artists from the international jazz scene, such as London based saxophone player Emma Rawicz, Giveton Gelin with his Quintet and the Columbian keyboard virtuoso Jesus Molina.
